2015 Dayton Reunion

2015 saw us returning to Dayton for a second visit.   Naturally the Air Force Museum was on our agenda.  After a official USAF Color Guard opened the ceremonies and a bugler playing Taps for those who have fallen, we rededicated the Memory Wall Plaque honoring the Radar Site of Iceland on display in the Memorial Garden.  A construction project changed our plans a bit by substituting a tour of Dayton by bus which showed us many of the famous sites of aviation history, for the originally planned activity.   Then, for a more detailed look at Dayton's history and a picnic lunch we toured the Carillon Park and its many and widely varied displays.  Our featured speaker was Lt. Col. (Ret) Joe Richardson, the last commander of the 932nd Sq.

Be sure to check out the videos taken at our reunion (available on the Videos page of this web site) and the more detailed report provided by our Chairman William Chick shown on the Documents page
